Payment

Full payment is required before the course start date.

Cancellations

More than 21 days before the course: Full refund or free transfer.
11–20 days before the course: 50 percent refund or transfer with fee.
Less than 10 days before the course: No refund.

Substitutions

You may substitute delegates up to 3 working days before the course.

Provider cancellation

If Green Skills Training Academy cancels the course, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date.

Health and safety

Delegates must follow all safety instructions. On-site venues must be safe, suitable and compliant for practical training.

Liability

We are not responsible for costs beyond the course fee such as travel, accommodation or consequential loss.

Data protection

Personal data is processed in line with our privacy policy and GDPR requirements.

Terms and Conditions for Course Bookings

1. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:

  • “Course” means any training provided by Green Skills Training Academy.
  • “Delegate” means the individual attending the course.
  • “Booking” means a confirmed reservation for a course.
  • “Training Centre” refers to our approved training locations.
  • “On-site Training” refers to training delivered at the client’s premises.

2. Bookings and confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only when written confirmation and an invoice have been issued by Green Skills Training Academy.
  • The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring all delegate information is accurate and complete.

3. Payment terms

  • Full payment is required to confirm the booking and must be received before the course start date.
  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer and credit or debit card.
  • VAT will be applied where applicable.
  • Failure to make payment may result in refusal of entry to the course.

4. Cancellations and transfers

4.1 Cancellation by the customer

  • More than 21 days before the course:
    • Full refund or free transfer.
  • 11–20 days before the course:
    • 50 percent refund
    • or transfer subject to an administration fee.
  • Less than 10 days before the course:
    • No refund.

4.2 Cancellation by Green Skills Training Academy

If we cancel a course, you will receive a full refund or an alternative date will be offered.

4.3 Delegate substitutions

Delegate substitutions are permitted up to 3 working days before the course start date.

5. Refund policy

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of approval.
  • No refund is provided for delegate non-attendance.
  • For online courses, a 14-day cooling-off period applies under Consumer Contracts Regulations unless login details have been issued.

6. Health and safety

  • Delegates must comply with all health and safety instructions throughout training.
  • For on-site training, the client must ensure that the venue is safe, suitable and adequately equipped for any practical activities.

7. Liability

Green Skills Training Academy is not liable for any loss beyond the course fee, including but not limited to:

  • travel costs
  • accommodation costs
  • consequential or indirect damages

8. Course materials and intellectual property

All course materials remain the intellectual property of Green Skills Training Academy. Materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission.

9. Data protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with GDPR and used solely for:

  • managing bookings
  • delivering the course
  • issuing certificates
  • meeting compliance or audit requirements

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • extreme weather
  • strikes
  • transport disruption
  • government restrictions
  • public health incidents

11. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
